Marco Ramondino is an Italian-qualified lawyer and a member of Arnold & Porter LLP's antitrust/competition practice group. Mr. Ramondino’s practice focuses on a wide range of issues under European (EC) and Italian competition law, with particular emphasis on merger control, cartels, and State aid investigations. Among other industries, Mr. Ramondino has gained significant experience in the pharmaceutical, insurance, chemical, automation, power generation, mining, and IT industries.
Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, Mr. Ramondino was a law clerk in the Cabinet of Mr. A. Tizzano, the Italian judge at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, where he dealt with most areas of EU competition law including merger control, cartels, and abuses of dominant position. He has also been a trainee at the European Commission’s directorate general for competition and at the Italian Antitrust Authority. Mr. Ramondino is fluent in Italian, English, and French, and is proficient in Spanish.
